Applications For Limited In-House Corporate
Counsel License
Every attorney
not a member of the bar of this commonwealth, who is employed by,
and performs legal services in Pennsylvania for a corporation,
company, partnership, association or other non-governmental business
entity, is required to obtain a Limited In-House Corporate Counsel
license to engage in such practice without being admitted to the bar
on motion or by examination. Attorneys who are licensed under this
rule are duly permitted to provide certain legal services to the
business entity by which they are employed and are not able to
otherwise engage in the practice of law in Pennsylvania or to hold
themselves out as attorneys in Pennsylvania. (See
Pa.B.A.R. 302 for requirements) |
