Scaled Score Formula Statistics

The following statistics are used in calculating the scaled essay score for each applicant.  The formula used for calculating the scaled score is known as the standard deviation method of calculating scaled scores.  A breakdown of the formula and its components follows, along with the actual data used for this examination.
