The February bar examination results are released in mid-April, and July bar examination results are released in mid-October. Official result notification is the results letter that is sent via the United States Postal Service.
If you are successful on the bar examination, your name only (without address) will appear on the Press Release of Successful Applicants, which is distributed to the Justices of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, members of the Board and other Supreme Court agencies for official use, and on the Board’s website. Bar examination results are valid for three years.
Your name will be included on the list of successful applicants, even if your character and fitness determination is not complete, you have not satisfied the character and fitness requirements, and/or you have not taken and achieved a scaled score of 75 or higher on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE).
