Information on Bar Exam Results

The October bar examination results will be released in mid-December. If you are successful on the bar examination, your name will appear on the Press Release of Successful Applicants, which is distributed to the Justices of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, members of the Board and other Supreme Court agencies for official use, and on the Board’s website. Your name will be included on the list of successful applicants even if your character and fitness determination is not complete, you have not satisfied the character and fitness requirements, and/or you have not achieved a scaled score of 75 or higher on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE).

Following the posting of the list of passed applicants, detailed official results and instructions for next steps will be delivered to each applicant electronically through their Online Bar Application account.

Bar examination results are valid for three years.

The Board will provide a dedicated application window for applicants who are unsuccessful and wish to reapply for the February 2021 exam. This window will be from 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, through Monday, December 28.
